Club Philosophy
The St. Albert Gymnastics Club maintains a philosophy that gymnastics is, above all else, fun, while stressing skill development, fitness, safety and the fundamental discipline necessary to achieve these objectives. We provide gymnastics for all ages and skill levels in a wide variety of programs in a safe and positive learning environment.
Coaches are encouraged to use this philosophy as the basis for their coaching, from the very youngest recreational classes through to the highest competitive levels, they use a positive, encouraging approach at all times.

All Proceeds Go Toward Much Needed Club Improvements
Over the past year, St. Albert Gymnastics Club has undertaken an extensive audit of our equipment and determined that we need $151,782 worth of new equipment to ensure we can continue to provide best-in-class gymnastics programming. Our goal is to ensure that no costs are passed onto our membership!

What have we done to support this initiative?
- COSA Community Capital Grant $50,594 - APPROVED
- Province of Alberta Grant $75,000 - PENDING
- Casino $19,558 - COMPLETED/ FUNDS DEPOSITED
- Fundraising $6,630 - VARIOUS FUNDRAISING INITIATIVES
Highlights of this project include:
- Upgrade existing floor: new foam underlay and new carpet cover
- New bars over the pit
- Foam cube covers: drastically eliminates dust in the facility
- New vault runway, spring boards and vault system
- New custom padding under the bars and beam areas
- New mini tramps, trapazoid boxes, crash mats, sting mats and cheese mats
- New Air Tumble Track
- New Low Balance Beam
- And, a plethora of new recreational climbing systems.
